Huh!, not sure I am going to like what's going on around here!

My people are working their butts off to get stuff done outside all at once.  They keep looking up maps and things on their computers too.  Mum has been in a tizzy to get some sewing finished and she is piling up clothes on the upstairs bed and the big black thing has come out of the closet. She puts all the piles of clothes in it and it comes downstairs and goes in the back of the van.

So that means I am off to the kennels again!!!

The people at the kennels all love me and they always put me in the big suite right by the door so I can get outside and it really isn't too bad but darn it, I miss my people when they go away.

Mum says they are going to see my human brother and his family.  They have had a new baby and Mum and the Bossman are going to see it.  I guess she is kinda sweet so I understand that they want to go and meet her.

I will miss them though and I know they will miss me too.  They are going to be driving for a lot of days and it will be very hot so I suppose the air conditioned kennels won't be sooooo bad and the gals there sure are nice and spoil me rotten.

I'll let you know how it goes folks.

Woopsie, my bad!

Hi my loyal followers.  Hope you are all doing good.  Me, I have been in the dog house again!  Yep, I really went and did it this time.  Good job my people are nice cos I think if it had been anyone else I might have been in real deep doo doo.

We live in the country, which is great but sometimes there are problems.  You see, our house is so nice and comfy that other critters want to move in with us and we most certainly don't want that!

The mouses are the worst.  They sneak in and try and build nests for themselves in our house!  Mum says that we don't take in free lodgers and they are most definitely not welcome.  Bossman and I agree and in that spirit I thought I was doing the right thing.

What did I do you ask?  Well, the Bossman's Mum who is now up in heaven had some really nice old antique furniture which we now have.  Mum's favourite is something she calls a washstand.  It is made of oak and she loves it.  It is in our living room and Mum keeps paperwork in the drawer.

So, when I thought I heard one of them darned mouses in the said drawer I wanted to get at it and frighten it away.  The Bossman and Mum were out at the time and I had to stay home cos of the heat and so I thought I would chase it away before they got home.

Well, it wouldn't just go away so I tried to open the drawer to get at it.  Woopsie, my bad! That was the wrong thing to do.

Mum took some pictures and is making me put them up on my blog so you guys can see what I did.

Mum thinks I will be sorry and I am but I am also pretty proud that I at least tried to chase off the horrible mousies for Mum. I think she knows that too and that's why she's not too mad at me.

If you look closely at the bottom picture you can see I also got at two other drawer knobs.........but not so bad as the first one!

Today, is a bit of an exciting day here.  Some men are outside with ladders and putting on a new roof. It has been so rainy here this year that it started leaking which the Bossman and Mum were not happy about but I think it's great cos I get to watch them and one of the guys brings dog treats for me.  How good is that eh?
