Mum got another knitting thingamejig!

The weather at the old homestead here has cooled down a bit so I get to go out in the van now sometimes. Only the short trips for now or long trips on cloudy days when the van won't get too hot. Suppose that makes sense!

I went out with them on Friday when Mum went and bought a new knitting thingy. She was very happy cos it didn't cost much at all. She was laughing when she set it up, she said it was like a toy but she had fun trying it.

Maybe, just maybe, I'll get my doggy coat now! So far she has been busy practicing on her knitting thingie and making mistakes. Woops, sorry Mum, I mean learning. She has made a couple of sweaters for the little boy guys in the family and is making a third for the little girl. She gets mad when the machine doesn't work right or if she does something wrong. I think it's funny!!!!!

The Bossman is still very wobbly but he decided yesterday to do some work on the sunroom ceiling. He wears funny things on his legs now to help him. Braces or some name like that. He was totally knackered last night. Ok, OK Mum, I mean he was very tired. There was some talk though of going out to buy some wood so maybe a trip out today for you know who.

I'm a handsome fellow, aren't I?

It must be true cos my people say it all the time. My people are the Bossman and Mum. The Bossman isn't too well, something neurological thingy going on with him and he doesn't walk too well these days. He still can get around though using his walker so that means I still get to go outside with him. No long walks though like we used to have but that's OK, I run around while he sits on his walker thingy. Mum is the one who looks after me and the Bossman but she has a new love in her life too. Her knitting thingamejig. It's big and sits on a desk upstairs in the spare room and she swears at it sometimes when things don't go right but she gets really happy when they do so I guess it's a keeper. So this is my blog, hope you like it.

Bossman and Mum got me a little sister, Maggie, so now Mum has been writing on my blog about her. I call her White Lightening cos that's what she's like sometimes. She is really quite sweet but can be a bit of a stinker sometimes. But, I can remember when I was just a puppy dog, I was a bit of a stinker too. Good thing Mum and Bossman rescued me from the pound when I was just 8 months old.
