Everyone here agrees, it's been a great day!

Bossman got up this morning really early to go up to his blind and hunt.  Me and Maggie let Mum sleep in till 5.54am.  She thinks I can tell the time cos that seems to be the time every morning we wake her up.  I'll let her think that  if she wants.

Bossman came back and they had bacon and pancakes.  Us dogs just had our doggy food, but Mum says it's good stuff.  She buys it from the vets cos they have the good stuff and not the stuff that gives me the itchies and I don't get itchy any more so she must be right.

Then we all went and had a group nap.  Me and Maggie was in our beds and Bossman and Mum was in theirs and we all had a good sleep.  Then Maggie woke Mum up cos she needed to go and pee.

Then me and Maggie had our dinners and Mum took us outside to run around and play. It was great out there today.  Mum took a ball for Maggie to chase so she didn't pester me so much to play fight.  I didn't get away with it completely though, she did want to play some.

We also had great fun with some ice.  Bossman and Mum's chairs had fallen over in the wind and some rain got in them and froze.  When Mum picked them up the ice fell out and me and Maggie had great fun throwing it about and licking and crunching it.  It was nice and sunny so Mum enjoyed it too.  Bossman slept some more.

I heard him tell Mum he had fallen over this morning when he was outside.  Good thing he had his stick with him and was able to get up or else he might have been out there a long time before Mum would have gone looking for him cos she never bothers him when he's hunting so she doesn't scare away the deer.

So it was a good day cos Bossman was well enough to hunt and although it wan't good that he fell, it was good that he could get back up. It was good cos Mum got to watch a Christmas movie. It was good cos we all had a group nap and it was good cos me and Maggie played outside for a long time.

Ain't life grand!

  1. Maggie will have so much fun when she sees the snow fr the first time, you will have to keep an eye on Bossman falling over and be there to help him up :-)

    1. Me and Bossman are always together except when he goes to hunt. He says the deer can smell my doggy smell so they won't come around. Huh! But me, Mum and Maggie get to have a lie in so it ain't so bad.
